Our story

Why we are in Europe

  1. 2001founded
  2. 23.09.2026strike on the data centre
  3. 2026United Cloud in Europe

On 23 September 2026 at 11:50, the United DC data centre building was hit by a strike. The data centre was effectively destroyed.

We had been preparing to host in Europe for a long time — and we have now put that plan into action on an emergency basis. The equipment we were able to save is being moved urgently to new sites in Europe. Our European capacity is already in operation — it is what we offer on this website.

Our site in Ukraine is not operating, and restoring it under current conditions is not safe. That is why our customers’ servers are now hosted in Europe: close to Ukraine, but far from the shelling.

The United DC team. With you since 2001.

Why us

Infrastructure you can rely on

Out of harm’s way

Servers run in European data centres with redundant power and networking. Shelling and power cuts in Ukraine do not reach them.

About 15 ms from Kyiv

15–25 ms from most Ukrainian cities — roughly half the time to Frankfurt or Amsterdam. Most Ukrainian carriers hand traffic to the data centre network right in Warsaw.

DDoS protection included

Network-layer attacks are filtered automatically, with no extra charge for attack volume or duration.

Learn more

Private network and VLANs

Join your servers into an isolated network — within one country or across countries. A server’s page says whether it has a private network.

Learn more

Space for backups

Many servers include space on separate storage; the amount is stated on the server’s page. You set the backup schedule — the way your data needs it.

Learn more

A second site in another country

A primary server in Poland, a standby in Germany or France. That is how fault tolerance is built: one server in one location is not enough for it.

How it works

From choice to access in three steps

  1. 1

    Choose a server

The catalogue shows live availability in each country and the price in hryvnia.

  2. 2

    Send a request

We get in touch, confirm the configuration and issue an invoice.

  3. 3

    Get access

In-stock servers are delivered within 12 or within 72 hours of payment — the catalogue shows which, next to each configuration.

Questions

The essentials, briefly

Where are the servers physically located?

In data centres in Poland — our main location. Germany, France and the United Kingdom are available too.

Whose data centre is it?

United Cloud is a project of the United DC team, which ran its own data centre in Ukraine from 2001. In Europe, servers are hosted in data centres of a leading European operator. We do not own those facilities: we lease the hardware and are responsible for the service, setup, support and your contract.

What happened to the United DC data centre?

On 23 September 2026 the data centre building was hit by a strike and effectively destroyed. We are moving the saved equipment to sites in Europe, and our European capacity is already in operation. The site in Ukraine is not operating; restoring it now is not safe.

What response time should I expect from Ukraine?

In our measurements from Ukrainian providers’ networks (October 2026): Kyiv about 15 ms, Lviv 8–18 ms, Kharkiv and Dnipro 21–25 ms, Odesa 23–28 ms. Mobile connections are slower.

Why is this more reliable than a server in Ukraine?

Servers in Europe do not depend on Ukraine’s power grid and are far from the shelling. No data centre can promise absolute safety, so we recommend keeping backups or a second server in another country. That is the lesson of our own experience.

Is DDoS protection included?

Yes, with every server, at no extra charge for attacks. It filters network-layer attacks (L3/L4). Protecting websites from application-layer attacks takes additional tools.

How fast will I get my server?

It depends on the configuration: within 12 or within 72 hours of payment. The catalogue shows the time next to each configuration.
